The Chinese Almanac (Tong Shu) is a traditional date-picking reference that weaves calendar rules, ganzhi, the five elements and the zodiac into a day’s favourable and unfavourable directions. Figures here are computed offline in your browser; the omen lists follow a simplified Jianchu method and are not a full printed Tong Shu.

Ganzhi and solar terms are computed offline from traditional calendar rules; the favourable/unfavourable lists follow the twelve Jianchu stars and are a simplified method, not a full Tong Shu.
