Terms of Service

Important: This tool is provided for cultural, entertainment and demonstration purposes only. Nothing it produces constitutes advice or a basis for any decision, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or career advice.

1. Description of the service

A purely client-side web tool offering (a) hexagram derivation based on Shao Yong's Plum Blossom (Mei Hua) method, (b) today's Chinese almanac (Huangli) computed from common lunar-calendar rules, and (c) optional third-party LLM interpretation. Casting and calendar calculations run entirely in your browser; the results are not uploaded as part of computing them. If you choose an AI reading, the displayed hexagram text, your question and your API key are sent to the provider you select.

2. Entertainment Use & Age

Positioned as cultural entertainment. Ages 18 and over are recommended; minors should use it with a guardian. Treat output as a cultural lens for reflection, not as statements of fact or prediction.

3. Jurisdictional restrictions

You must comply with the laws of your location. Rules on divination, fortune-telling and related content vary by country and region. This site does not determine whether use is permitted in any particular jurisdiction. Confirm local rules before you use the tool.

4. Free to use

The core casting and almanac features are free and unlimited. No sign-up, no serial numbers.
The optional AI reading requires your own third-party model account. Any charges are billed by that provider under its terms, not by us.
Any partner slot on the page comes from a third party and has nothing to do with our method. Tapping it is governed by that party's terms and privacy policy.
Core features are free to use. Should paid content or recommendations ever be introduced, they will be clearly labelled here and on the page, with your consent.

5. Prohibited uses

Not for medical diagnosis, legal decisions, financial investment or any high-stakes decision.
Do not submit violent, self-harm, illegal or sexual content in any input field. Such input is blocked locally on your device and yields no result.
Do not scrape, mirror or redistribute the site's content for misleading purposes.
Do not use the tool to harm others or to break the law or platform rules.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The tool is provided "as is," without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the tool.

7. Changes

These terms may change as the product updates. Continued use after an update means you accept the latest version.
